How It All Began

Pino Bros Ink began not as a business idea, but as a connection—an artist helping another artist.

The journey started in the early 2000s when musician Frank Pino Jr., frontman of the band WALTHAM, was introduced to a tattoo artist from his hometown.

What began as a quick introduction quickly turned into a tattoo business class, sparking a fascination with the artistry and business of tattooing.

In 2002, leveraging the momentum of WALTHAM's growing exposure, Frank and Dave established the first Pino Bros Ink

location at 1100 Cambridge Street in Cambridge, MA.

We were one of only four licensed tattoo studios in the city at the time — making us pioneers in Massachusetts' newly legalized tattoo industry.
